Germ Free HandZ Research Print E-mail

One key question we are often asked is whether or not Germ Free HandZ is FDA-approved.  There are 4 existing monographs for hand sanitizers:

1. Alcohol-based.
2. Triclosan-based, (proven carcinogenic; rarely used.)
3. Benzalkonium Chloride (primarily used in water-based / non-alcohol sanitizers.
4. Benzethonium Chloride

Any other formulation of hand sanitizers requires a 'New Drug Application'.  We are in the process of applying for a new monograph for Germ Free HandZ.

Here are research documents on Germ Free HandZ. (Click on each to open in a separate window.)
